Ahhh, the post Christmas report.

New Ride

On Friday, Christine and I bought a 2003 Honda Odyssey EX-L. As I mentioned in my last entry, I was really hoping we could get a Honda Pilot, but I'm satisfied with our purchase. It's a good vehicle. It's got power when you need it, a smooth ride, plenty of space, and a nice sound system.

Woman of my life

Christine proved to be the best wife I could ever ask for this Christmas. She surprised me with gifts I knew I wanted and some I didn't know I wanted... but I did.

First off, I got a Fuji S5200 digital camera to take the place of our aging Canon Powershot S10. I've been researching digital cameras all year, it seems. Initially, I was sold on the Fuji F10, but then the S5200 was announced and included the same Super CCD imager the F10 had but also included a 10X optical zoom.

It's been a great camera for the last day or so.

I also got a tux shirt from Thinkgeek, a cool interactive light for my office, two pair of my favorite jeans, and a leadership book.

Christine didn't fare too badly either. She got an elliptical trainer, an iAudio X5 digital music player, a new pair of her favorite jeans, a new hand mixer, and some music CDs.

Maya got a karaoke system and a guitar. Lucy got a huge dollhouse with furniture and a couple inhabitants for the dollhouse. Eli scored some big Tonka toys and Shake-n-Go raceway.
