Renaisance Festival - Things To see

A huge wood-carved bear is one of the many landmarks that welcomes visitors to the festival each year.

An entertainer explains the diablo (spanish for devil) which he demostrates with great skill as a kind of medieval yo-yo.

Visitors were invited to try their sense of balance on the Jacob's Ladder. One festival participant demonstrated to the crowd what could be done with the proper skill- After climbing to the top of the ladder and ringing the bell there, he proceeded to swing himself around the ladder in circles.

One of most comedic acts we saw was juggling by these three young men: the Dew-Drop Jugglers. After juggling 12 clubs they gave us their final act - machete juggling with the three to each others' backs.
